Developing Assessments

If your training programme results in the learner achieving a nationally accredited qualification the assessments are often provided by the Awarding Organisation.  However, for some qualifications the Awarding Organisations leave it to the training provider to develop suitable assessment instruments.

We have a lot of experience developing assessments for both knowledge and competence based qualifications and will be able to work with you to ensure the assessments are fair, robust,  test the learning outcomes of the training programme, are set at the right level and meet the assessment criteria of the qualification.

 Some training programmes that do not result in nationally accredited qualification still require a formal assessment to prove the learning has taken place.  This could take the form of a paper based knowledge test, a computer based knowledge test or a practical assessment.  Again we can work with you to ensure the assessments are appropriate for the situation and are set at the right level.
